What
kind of teacher would you be?
Answer Key
Mostly
A's
You would be a learner-centered teacher. Your focus in the
classroom is balanced between caring for your students and providing
enough content for each of them to achieve to their fullest potential.
Mostly B's
You would be a teacher that most kids like, for you are focused
primarily on befriending your students. The needs of your students,
their likes and dislikes, and the manner in which they regard
you is of utmost importance to you. However, you could benefit
from focusing more on the content of your curriculum, setting
deadlines, sticking to your schedule, and balancing your desire
to please your students with your goal of teaching them.
Mostly C's
You're probably an expert in your content area, but you could
be a really tough teacher for students in grades K12. Primarily
content driven, you set high standards for yourself and your students.
At times, the stringent adherence to your schedule and policies
alienates students. You could benefit from working more student
involvement into your lessons, and becoming more flexible in your
approach.
